This study is part of a series of guided case studies aimed at exploring whether and under what conditions the application of a value chain approach can help accelerate economic growth in conflict-affected environments. The focus of this case is the Lulu Livelihoods Programme implemented by MEDIC in Sudan’s shea butter industry. It details the strategies pursued by the program to cope with the ongoing conflict and presents research findings based on the four hypotheses tested. |
