This microNOTE covers the variety of issues involved with offering microfinance to youth in general, and the additional issues that are presented in conflict situations. While serving youth has become a hot topic of discussion among microfinance stakeholders (especially among donors and government officials), this document offers many cautions in going forward and highlights the remaining questions that Chemonics’ AMAP Consortium is continuing to explore through it “Microfinance Amid Conflict” research topic. |
